Spam, a Nasty Four-Letter Word

SPAM® Classic  Today I'm blogging briefly about spam. To me, as far as my experiences go, spam is terrible.
I read an article written a while ago by someone who said she loved receiving spam mail. She spoke about how funny the mails were because the spammers were not using correct grammar. In turn, I thought, "Yeah, it's kinda neat getting spam because at least someone somewhere must be thinking of me and my blog."
However, I beg to differ with that earlier thought. Spam is hurtful. Plus, 9 times out of 10, spammers do not even read the posts. Their comments and remarks do not reflect/coincide with anything you're talking about.
     I guarantee
that I receive hundreds of spam email daily as well. A few mails leak through from people I know. Only when I click on links they've sent me, my computer blocks the malicious malware. And I'm thinking, "Would this person actually send me this?"
After receiving mail just this morning that got me upset, my son said, "Mom, the mail is spam. It's probably not sent from the supposed sender. Just delete it. Ignore it. Go read about spam on the internet."
With an invisible cloth, I dried my eyes. I put on a brave smile.
Today is still gonna be great!! I vow not to let the message or the messenger get me down. And by the way, the only spam I enjoy is the kind between two slices of bread.
What are your thoughts about spam?
